OVERVIEW:

Looking for a way to keep your kids entertained this summer? For a week of fun this summer there’s no better option than multi-sports camps operated by Michael & Son Sportsplex at Dulles. We provide kids with fast, frantic fun by combining a range of games with social development in a safe setting. Better still, with different games taking place each day, boredom is never an option.

Bring your child to The Michael & Son Sportsplex At Dulles for a week of fun this summer. If your child enjoys sports or wants to try new sports, this is the camp for you. Your child will have a week of fun, learning and playing sports that might include flag football, soccer, wiffleball, volleyball, basketball, kickball, team handball and others.

Multi-Sports Camps For The Little Athlete In Your Life

While there’s nothing wrong with children having a favorite sport, experiencing a range of activities is the best way to grow on and off the playing field. Allow your kids to develop a love of sports that they may not usually play, and it can lead to truly great things. Sports camps are the ultimate way to do it.

Your child will have a week of fun, learning and playing sports that might include flag football, soccer, wiffleball, volleyball, basketball, kickball, team handball, and others. However, kids with a clear favorite can enjoy basketball camps or soccer camps until 2 PM before switching to the multi-sports camps in the afternoon. This provides the best of both worlds.

Either way, our summer camps provide truly incredible experiences for boys and girls of all ages. In addition to the fun, the professional coaching they receive is sure to turn them into better players across a host of different sports. What more could anyone ask for?

More Than A Game

Our multi-sports camps do focus on helping children develop skills in an array of different sports. However, it’s more than just a game. As such, we go the extra mile to push children to develop key social skills including communication and leadership. The rewards of doing this extend far beyond sport alone.

Our multi-sports camps are the perfect place for youngster across Sterling, VA, Ashburn, VA, Leesburg, VA, Falls Church, and Reston to build on existing friendships and create new ones in the process.

The sentiments of being more than a game are underlined by the fact we offer plenty of activities other than just the sports. We also provice snacks to full-day campers. Likewise, participants are given a t-shirt to remember their experience while the best players will win prizes too. Our multi-sports camps truly do provide the comprehensive life experiences that your child will cherish.

No wonder we’re a hit with players and parents alike.

*THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CAMP PROCEDURES SO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY*

We are beyond excited to kick off our summer camp season with your children this week! We have a lot of great activities planned and hope you all are pumped. Whether you have been to camp with us before, or if this is your first time, we have made some changes to how we are going to operate the camp. Below is a list of things that your child will need to bring as well as an overview of the procedure we will be following.

THINGS TO BRING WITH YOUR CHILD:

  • Yoursportspass.com Membership (this will be used to scan your children IN & OUT of camp)
  • Packed Lunch
  • Water bottle(s)
  • Backpack to keep all their items
  • Any medications needed
  • Sunscreen
  • Athletic clothes/shoes (possible extra set of clothes for emergencies)
  • Money (if you want your child to purchase extra snacks/drinks)

YOURSPORTSPASS.COM MEMBERSHIP – our facility is a MEMBERSHIP ONLY facility. For camps, your children will all need a membership. Even if they are siblings they will still need separate memberships. These will be used to scan your child IN & OUT of camp each day to ensure that they are being picked up by one of their parents/guardians.

HOW TO GET A MEMBERSHIP – Go to YOURSPORTSPASS.COM and make an account under your name. You will need to verify your email address before you can make the membership. Once verified, log back into your account and click the GREEN “Create Membership” button on the bottom right. Fill out all the necessary information and pick your membership option. We have 1-day, 3-month, and full-year options open every day. WE WILL ALSO HAVE A 1-WEEK option available starting Sunday Mornings through 10am Monday. Once created you will need to log back into your account on a MOBILE DEVICE to access your QR code that we will use to scan your child in with. If you have any trouble getting access to your code we are more than happy to help you all when you arrive in the morning.

COVID PROCEDURES –  Children are not required to be in a mask this summer. We will be doing frequent hand washing and sanitizing of all equipment.  We ask that if your child shows any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 that you keep them home, as well as report this to us immediately. Should any cases of COVID-19 arise, we will be using contact tracing to let families potentially involved know. By sending your child to summer camp, you acknowledge all risks associated with COVID-19.

LUNCH & SNACKS – All children attending camp for half or full days will be having lunch at 11:45am. WE ARE A NUT-FREE FACILITY. Please send your child with a packed lunch and drinks. Children will not be permitted to share lunches. All children who are full-day campers will receive a drink and a snack at 3pm. We ask that you please send your child with plenty of drinks (especially water), as they will get very thirsty during the summer, as well as any snacks that they might want in addition.

SNACKS FOR PURCHASE – During Lunch and Snack time children will be able to purchase snacks, and ice pops from our concession stand. Children are welcome to bring money with them and keep it in their bag, or we can hold it for them at the front desk.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES – Each day all Multi-Sport Campers will be participating in outside activities throughout the day. Please bring your child to camp wearing sunscreen. All outside activities run 45 minutes (time may be shortened depending on weather). On certain days, we will also be running water activities. We ask that you please send your child a change of clothes in their bag each day.

CAMPER GROUPS – Typically we will split the camp into 3 groups based on age. This allows for all children to play with others on their skill level. If for any reason you need your children to stick together (siblings, friends, etc.), please let us know in advance and we will do our best to make it happen.

BULLYING/MISBEHAVIOR – we have a strong policy against bullying inside our facility and camps. We understand that your children are eager to run around and have fun but want to ensure that fun is for ALL. Each day our coaches will address the rules on this with the campers and we ask for you all to remind your children of the importance of being respectful and kind to others so we can avoid any potential conflicts. With any bullying case, management will take over and in severe cases, expulsion from our camps is an option.

ELECTRONICS – we understand that in today’s world everyone has a device with them at all times but we ask that you leave any NON-ESSENTIAL DEVICES (phone for emergencies) at home. This is a sports camp after all and we want to give your children the best experience possible, which can become difficult when the kids are stuck behind the screen. We will have plenty of movie days and activities to change up the schedule so there should not be a reason for the devices to be used anyways.

If you have any questions feel free to call our facility at (703) 430-9966 or email jgelber@sportsplexmg.com.

Youth Sports Camps At A Beautiful Venue

Here at Michael & Son SportsPlex at Dulles, we are huge advocates of providing personalized and tailored training and tutoring that resonate with children. However, the content of our youth sports programs is certainly aided by the surroundings.

Our indoor turf pitches and basketball courts do not only remove the threat of cancellations off or becoming potentially dangerous due to weather. The flat surfaces also allow kids to develop at the fastest rate and enjoy a level of play that can’t be matched elsewhere. From training to league games, enjoyment is evident in every play.

Ultimately, we want kids to develop the same level of love for the game as we have. Thanks to the winning combination of our quality coaching and stunning facilities, you’ll see that this is very much possible.

Have It Your Way

No two children are the same, which is why we offer the chance to mix and match multiple sports at our sports camps. Meanwhile, we appreciate that no two families are identical either. We pride ourselves on letting you have things your way.

This is why we give you a choice of half-day sessions (9 AM to 2 PM) or full-day sessions (8 AM to 6 PM) as well as the choice of single day or week-long bookings. Our prices for daily drop-ins are $65 (half day) and $90 (full day) while our weekly charges are $175 (half day) and $215 (full day). Alternatively, you can keep your child with us for a little longer after the half-day session for an extra $15 per hour.

With the opportunity to tailor the meals to suit your child’s dietary requirements too, this truly is the ideal solution.
